Alexandria's "Common Buckeye" Butterfly came out of the cocoon and was so still in the little cage, I thought something was wrong so I opened the cage and it flew out so fast. Ian and I had to capture this butterfly in our house because we knew Lexi would be very upset if she didn't get to see her butterfly. Gods beautiful creation! It just amazes me every time to watch the caterpillar change into the chrysalis and then turn into a beautiful butterfly.The butterfly LOVED McKenzie's roses!
